Our commitment
Cal Inspections is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people using assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark and a skip-to-content link on every page
- All interactive controls reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- Text and interface colours tested for WCAG AA contrast
- Form fields with persistent visible labels, not placeholder-only labelling
- Motion and reveal animations disabled automatically for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference
- Responsive layout that reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling
- Descriptive link text rather than bare "click here" labels
Known limitations
The on-site assistant and any third-party scheduling or review widgets we embed are supplied by external providers, and we do not control their markup. Where such a component presents a barrier, we will provide the same information by telephone, email or in an alternative format on request. We review this position whenever a third-party component is added or changed.
