Who we are

Cal Inspections ("we", "us") provides property inspection services in California. You can reach us at hello@calinspections.com or (213) 536-9392.

What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact us, we collect the name, phone number, email address, property address and any notes you provide. When you call or text, we collect your phone number and the content of the exchange. If you use the on-site assistant, the conversation is processed entirely in your browser and is not transmitted to us unless you choose to send it with a quote request.

We also collect standard technical information through our hosting provider, including IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Why we collect it

To quote and schedule your inspection, deliver your report, respond to enquiries, and meet our record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers who help us operate (form processing, scheduling, report delivery and email), each bound to use it only for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Inspection records are retained for at least four years, reflecting the limitation period in California Business & Professions Code section 7199. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within [24 months].

Your California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, California residents may request access to the personal information we hold, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email hello@calinspections.com. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Text messaging

If you text us, we will reply by text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The on-site assistant records a single short-lived value in your browser so that it does not repeatedly prompt you during the same visit, and that value is never transmitted to us. Should we introduce analytics in future, we will describe the provider and its purpose in this section before doing so.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page with a revised date.
